Telemarketing Representative, Merrimack, NH

 

Telemarketing Representative with the opportunity to grow into a sales representative

Job Functions:
The Telemarketing Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for ASA’s product line, a software solution for independent tire dealers.  This is accomplished by proactively conducting outbound prospecting calls to identify and qualify new independent tire dealers.  This position is well suited for those people looking to grow their career by taking this successful experience and moving into a sales role.      

Key Responsibilities:

(A)          Meet and Exceed Performance Objectives:

  • Proactively identify new accounts via lead generation and outbound cold calling
  • Meet and exceed lead generation and productivity goals.  Maintain a level of metrics to meet activity goals (call volume and email). 
  • Take leads generated through Marketing activity and develop them into prospects by communicating ASA’s value proposition
  • Develop leads, create interest and awareness within defined geographical territory
  • Collect fundamental qualifying information; identify decision maker(s) and products being used
  • Identify high potential accounts and transition to the sales organization

 (B)         Pipeline Development, Sales Process and Database Integrity:

  • Log all pertinent data into Salesforce.com
  • Maintain the database, including comprehensive data entry, setting alarms for follow-up, lead tracking, and lead distribution
  • Effectively utilize opportunity qualification system
  • Adhere to all current sales methodologies and processes
  • Execute lead generation programs to create awareness and increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and tradeshows
  • Report successes to management weekly
  • Track and record marketing programs.  Provide feedback on quality of leads and input for new marketing programs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of ASA’s products and a solid understanding of the software solution.

Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years in a telemarketing or sales position preferably in a software environment.
Experience in the tire and automotive or accounting software industries a plus. Associates Degree or better required.
